Journal Page

Cellucidate Support Nov 24, 2009

Journal pages are pages that can be added anywhere to the cBook. They have a WYSIWYG editor and you can upload images to supplement the text..

The Journal Page gives the user an opportunity to add any descriptive and supplementary information to their cBooks. They are essentially an extended annotation and/or an electronic lab notebook to record any additional work being done (e.g lab work) and can also be used to provide a summary or a review of the cBook's content. The user can add a new journal page from the book toolbar at the top of the cBook. Journal pages pull the cBook together and give the user an opportunity to fully describe their cBook, chapter or anything else. They allow for a fully transparent, usable and presentable model.

Panel 1 - Title and Actions

A title can be added to journal pages by clicking on the title field. The user can also make a copy of the journal page via the Copy button, which gives the option of copying the page into another cBook or the current one. The Actions drop-down menu allows the user to delete the page, and view the user guide.

Panel 2 - Description

This is where the user can add a summary or overview of their cBook using the WYSIWYG text editor.

Panel 3 - Images

The user can upload images to go with the journal page text. To add images, simply click on "add image". The user can also add a title and caption to the image when prompt.
