The Foreword Page in each cBook is a special page that comes at the beginning of the cBook. The Foreword includes among other features, a description field in which a summary of the cBook can be filled in, and a menu for configuring the cBook's settings.

This shows the title of the cBook, which can be changed by clicking on the name, and the author(s) of the cBook, which lists the users who have edited any pages within the cBook. The user can also choose to change the color of their cBook by clicking on the drop-down menu under the book icon.
The user can include a summary of the cBook in the description field, which will also appear on the Bookshelf page under the cBook name and in search results.
This panel shows the settings and status of the cBook. It tells users what role they play in the cBook (owner, collaborator) or if they are linking to the cBook (when in a public cBook), and the status of the cBook (private or public). The owner of the cBook can move the cBook to another bookshelf in the drop-down menu, and manage the sharing options of the cBook via the "Manage Sharing" button. Learn more about sharing and collaborating on cBooks.

This panel tells users when the cBook was first created, by whom, and on what bookshelf the cBook lies.
